I hadnt had the clue the book could give me so much. I remember that afternoon at the library when i merely grabbed Tuesdays with Morrie because i have heard great reviews from my peers. As i opened this tiny book just last night,
it bursted overflowing runs of life lessons that i wished i've known earlier in my life. Yes, im still young, still have time to practice Morrie's philosophies but
how i wished i've learned how to accept life or of that love others unconditionally when i was little. I understood now what he meant about knowing how to die would promised you to embrace life more than you used to.
If you've experienced a near death occurance, you would wanna live as if there's no tomorrow. Dont let time and even your life past by you but try to live your life every precious moment of it. People have regrets because they fastforwarded themselves thru the process of learning and living. Treat problems as a guide for future references and be the best person you can be.I know, i barely practiced it myself but
i do try not to let small things succumb me down. I still have to read the book over and over and over again until i brainwashed and planted all the important things the narration is broadcasting. Then again,
i should learn life in my own small way. Yes, the book dictates what a right life should be about, however, depending solely on it wouldnt get me anywhere nor would my brain be instilled by the teachings.
I wished i have a mentor like Morrie, someone who could tell me not to do or the opposite around. Hands down for Mitch Albom for an incredible share. Though i've waited wednesday to finish it, i must say, this is a good read any day, any week.

My daily horoscope says it all:
"You speed through the day like a cyclist on a downhill slope. Even a slight sprinkling of rain or a fierce headwind won't dampen your irrepressible spirit. Leave your competitors in the dust and dont look back."
I don't believe in those but everytime i checked my mail and browsed thru them, they would exactly define my day. I dunno how they do it or even know that something parallel to the horoscope is gonna happen in an individual's life. It's just amazing and now, my day is proven again. Yes, i did speed thru my day, started in a crappy feeling at my volunteer job with a negative 100 energy (damn vending machine ate my dollar again so didnt had a dose of sugar), then later on, i said "why be crappy when i could carpe diem" so i did and things went from there giving me a hyperactive glow.
The things earlier didnt bother me much later on thus the "wont dampen your irrepressible spirit" part.
Amazing.
I still didnt feel like signing up kids or doing the book go-backs like around 3 pm or so. I wished the day could of gone faster but then
Mr. Sal (aaaaah lol) signed in and what do you know, had two door incidents with me.
1. i was trying to get out of the workers restroom. He was trying to get in. At the same time and i, apparently, is making a big deal out of it haha.
2. Him pulling door's work room, me, pushing it. I said "Im sorry" (for no particular reason lol) and HE REPLIED, "its all right" 0,o first conversation with him and it involved a door and apology, HOW ROMANTIC. lolThen, the teen librarian sent us to Pryecto del Barrio to get the document list needed to apply. It was short but fun.
Did a jiggly thing at the elevator with clyde cuz he pressed the wrong floor number the first time, then i pressed the wrong floor again to keep our dancing going. So we were pretty much back and fort to 1, 2 and 3rd floor, oops.
After work, we waited for the 323 bus in front of EZ lube for 30 minutes, practicing how to show my first bus pass to the driver hahahaha.
Hey, im a first timer and i detest being labeled as one. We then waited for another 10 minutes after that to take another bus trip, walked a mile or so i think to the campus center and even got there 45 minutes earlier from the rest of the students.
Mr. whiney kept whining bout how creepy the site was etc etc etc but man,
WE HAD FUN. Sucks though cuz there were too much ladies and only 6 hunkies or not even, lool. Ms. May pleaded we bring guys with us, maybe our dad, brother, strangers,
anyone who can be classified as a male species is allowed (for now). I
say why not go to a strip club and invite them sexey men to come to our class. hahaha, right.
We did some foxtrout (sp?) walking today, me, messing up the steps with almost everyone. We alternate partners from lack of guys and if not entirely, got to know all of the students (maybe not haha). Not to be conceited or anything like that but wohoo, i danced with rythm; like one lady told me
"i rocked". hahaha, i still dont know what she meant but i guess
she meant me swaying and just having fun. Like seriously, i cant keep myself from doing something funny every time there's music on. Im always like headbangin or i dunno, moving my hands. Aaaah, a fun field class is
L O V E. Hopefully it would always be like that.
Then,
what a fun way to end a day with horsey walkin..yee haw! hop hop hop hop to friend's car. lool Dance delight inside my friend's van afterwards.
In the words of our dear governor, HASTA LA VISTA, BABY! I urged you to listen to
Dont worry be happy song.
