You know what i've notice, I HAVE A VERY LONG NECK LIKE A GIRAFFE. And now thinking of decapitating my head to shorten it because oooh i would love to be perfect like those celebrities on TV. Yeah right! Im so sick of people trying to change what they got all the time. Many filipinos want to have light skin on the contrary, American women trying to tan as hell. I asked, what's wrong with dark skin or a light skin? Many people either tries too hard to lessen something from their body or add stuff to achieve perfection. I believe this issue of insecurity is done by the mainstream we're currently drawn into. We see all of these perfect celebrities, models, TV personels all the time and think that just because their physic seems like the basis of how a person should look like, we go on (or some of us) trying to achieve the "look".
Ironically, i passed by Tyra Bank's yahoo question the other day "What can we do to help girls with low-self-esteem?" She got mixed answers, from people giving her advices and rebels contradicting her shows, both America's Next Top Model & Tyra Bank Show. I agree to the later; she might've been celebrating all sorts of women, from skinny to the "more-to-love" but it seemed when i watched an episode of it (large women), she wasnt as though serious about it at all. Its very ironic how she's asking the question when she herself, with the petite body that she have, makes women/girls alot insecure than they already are. I've heard she wasnt as "charmingly perfect" back on her teenage years so she must know how to deal with low-self-esteems, right? But wait! She was a model, duhr. It's so hard to think that she understand what girls like me with low-self-esteem is going through. And if she were asking that to actually help girls, good for her. After all, she's an icon now, not as infamous as Ms. Hilton, but still, she could actually make a difference. (by first cancelling ANTM? lol)
I say love what you got because when you try hard to look like perfect little missy, the world would lack diversity. Dont sweat looking like the mainstream, never let peers get the better of you (haha friend quote) and whatever happens, be true to yourself. Do you really need to be light skinned? Hmm, no. Either way, dark & light skin's fuckin H O T.
-trying to have a point but thinks failed to do so again,

...the secret to being a good friend is to shut your mouth, give your shoulders to cry on,and your full attention to a friend in distress!
...most of the time, people claim they need "advise" but the truth, they really want someone to be there for them.
totally agree.

I hate how things keeps disappearing on me. Oh, we have 2 pet fishes: Pedro & Jose2. I'd like to keep what we owned "mexicanized"... lol and stories and the likes will be put off until i have time to blog. I decided to manage my time accordingly. Imma go to sleep @ 9 and wake up at 5 which will give me perfect 8 hours of sleep, exercise for 30 minutes then go take a shower or do some last minutes homeworks. That's how my schedule will be from now on. I notice i've been stressed out lately which gives me that rough look in my face aka bags...the bags..argh...freakin bags...i hate you! lol
New food jingle:
I need food! Food is good! Oh oh oh. I wanna eat a pineapple...that dances like whore..
mmmm mm. :-)
Photo=the never ending self-potrait of the vain but yet ugly kid. It looked like i wanna kill someone, well i dont nor was i feeling serious it was my emotion towards gang crimes, average lives getting killed because of the idiocy of other people. Further story coming up later. The picture that my friend demonstrated involving her brother was horrible. Im thinking of making a fictionized version.

The new amsterdams.
To be able to clean my room last night
was out of the norm. I've never really want to clean my room in a friday night like yesterday, i was tired and only thinking of going directly to bed.
It's sickenin how clean my room looks now. Everything is on the right spots except for my camera's USB. I've looked for it theth whole night but
thanks to bad karma, i didnt find it anywhere and yes, not even under my bed. I'm taking the responsibility for it although i believe i didnt put the USB anywhere but on the flooor, my floor duhr. I even saw it safe & fuckin sound yesterday morning but when i got back from school, the USB was gone or
so i think it is for now. lol I still can transfer pictures via the memory chip, that's the good part about this whole thing. U
nfortunately for me though is i might get a sermon about "being responsible for the things given to me or just pretty much my "stuffs". However, pls. do consider that i've gone gaga looking for it yesterday;
i feel bad that it have gone missing like that and to save myself from hearing what you've got to say, i admit,
I'M A VERY IRRESPONSIBLE KID. :-|
I was for the most part, feeling socially active yesterday after school but seems like all of my friends are either have to go home early because they have alot of homeworks to do or they have to stay at school and study. what?
The scenario was wrong in every angle possible. I've never encountered that day when my peers chooses to do school works over hanging out and doing nothing just yesterday...the world have gone topsy turvy and im scared it is gonna be like that, gonna be all school works during friday nights and over the weekend. If that happens, this school year will probably last forever, argh. Anyway, i had to bid them "good workin", everyone of them, and
i was reluctantly going home myself. Home wasnt horrible than how i thought it would be, however.
Lazing out with brother watching & making fun of them filipino actors and pigging out on buffalo wings wasnt bad at all, it was ironically relaxing and funny how we're getting along then getting annoying afterwards.
Well, i think this weekend would suck ass big time.
I've taken home a lot of homeworks (like my dorky friends lol) myself from an essay, 2 books for reading, a perspective artwork, 42 math analysis problems & studying for it, and 10 dialectical journal that was suppose to be done over the past summer and i smell a sucky sucky weekend on this underwhelming room of mine. So if you happen to past by a women's bar,
pls send me 10 macho papas for my comfort, luxury & entertainment. lol I'm seriously not serious...but i can be serious about it... hmmm how bout UPS guys? they're kinda hunky..
ooh brandon routh man! lol
My last night's entry isnt publish yet and i dont think it must be now. When i tried writting an entry, i started drooping off and only woken up when i heard my mom calling Mike to move his car. Then i think i went to bed and that was all i could remember. :-) Photographs.
My Room before i cleaned it:

(bed was undone)

(accesories, cards, papers, pens everywhere ooh & a dying plant)

(stuffs on the floor lol)
The afters:

(squeky clean, kinda. & it looks hawaiian lol)

(i believe my best shot this week featuring my bes bud, Hoesay! lol)

Random.
I was walking back from the library when this random guy on a bike, suddenly came up and started talking to me. I thought he was only gonna say hi when he started asking me questions like "do you live around here?" "how come i dont see you?" blah blah blah. He then asked for my number just in case i wanna "kick it" with him. I, of course, the freakin shy-ass keekee that i am, hesitated "What do you want my number for?" I replied. He said i am beautiful adding to that was bunch of bull crap compliments like "pretty good-looking, cute, hot" etc as if im gonna give him my number--i dont think im that easy. The dude was pretty quick, lemme tell you. He pretty much got to know me in 15 minutes or less. He was very extroverted unlike me who doesnt make eye-contact much and doesnt like talking. Anyway, i was really bugged by his agressiveness so i asked if he's gonna be late to his job already (just to make him go away...lol). In relief, we parted on some intersection and he hoped he'll gonna see me again. eeeer. He wasnt bad-looking, it was that he was too agressive & totally not my type (like he assumed it was the case).
P.S. Its sickening how people around here are oh-so friendly. I get too many hi's, beeps, and faces turning 180 degrees. :-
Walking, waiting, taking pictures.
I got home early so i decided to head back out again and take some random pictures. I started here:

Well, asking random people to pose for me what i do best so i asked this "young lady" if i could get a picture of her waiting for the bus. She agreed although it came up rather weird and stiff. :-) Then i passed by here:

which it demonstrates the ghetto-unfabulousness of canoga park. It interests me how rusty metals, cars and a bunch of wires are just stuck there. It seem as if they're treasures looming around for passers by to study, to criticize, to see. After that, my journey brought me here:

It is funny how these things are negclected on the side streets where back home, people are dying to have a television or a comfy couch. The story goes, a couple got into an arguement, threw the television in their window, the couch, and a mover's box. :-) lol
The narrow side street scared me so i went back to the actual sidewalk and took this for my green e club:

Its a little blurry, yes. After that, i walked pass near maria's house although i didnt knock on her door. XD There werent anything good to take a picture around the neighborhood but i saw this mural from a car dealer place:

with the dove and everything, it screams me! peace! :-)
I passed by the little shops along sherman way although didnt manage to take any pictures of that italian place (i dont think im allowed to) or the birds on that pet store. So i walked somwhere lol and took this on the sidewalk:

which actually looks pretty clear. lol I visited Green Thumb next. As always, i didnt get to take any pictures of the plants or the pots cuz some dude that works there were like literally following me as if im gonna steal something. What would i need plants for? lol
I got tired and lost, lol so i went back, passed the small shops, then went to this thrift store instead. :-) I spent a great amount of time looking for tops, some are funky old, but some like the two shirts i bought are wearable cute. XD Im cheap like that, you know? what do you need expensive stuff for when you can have them for a lesser price (and i believe cuter too)? hahaha.
then of course, my day wouldnt be complete without my homies "artwork":

ah, kids these days never learn anything. they try to act gangsta & shit when i'll more gangsta than they are. :-D
I passed by a cute adorable kid. i planned on asking him to pose for me but then his dad appeared, i got scared and ran away:

"Whoa-oa-oa! I feel good, I knew that I would, nowI feel good, I knew that I would, nowSo good, so good, I got youWhoa! I feel nice, like sugar and spiceI feel nice, like sugar and spiceSo nice, so nice, I got you"Uhm no, i didnt get laid, won the Lotto, nor did that stranger finally came up to me and said hi, to be honest, i dont even feel that nice at all. I just thought it might be a good song for an afternoon pick me up. The sad songs that i've been listening to make me alot more sadder, so maybe 70s funky groove will do the trick for me. :-) (it is already. im actually doing my homeworks earlier than usual)
Today at school was fun, ironically. Classes were a little bit interesting, i loved our physics discussion, & Mr. Stewart was seemingly funnier than usual. Or has he been all this time and never notice it cuz my brain had been hybernating for so long? Maybe. lol For the first time this month, i was actually listening to the lectures. I guess it was the long sleep i had last night. Although i did not finish my homeworks, I had a very good sleep. I was already snoring at 9... I wanted to stay up a little bit more to chat with that hottie Ross whom i've found in myspace but no couldnt do, i was drooping off and well, he was kind of stupid and i was ready to leave him. :-D The first few minutes of roll playing was fun (e.g.: he's gonna come and get me and will make love day & night and i'll let him drown at the pacific lol) then it got to the point where his replies were pointless as well as mine so i just decided to go to sleep. I also met JT from connecticut i think...wait, no, he sent me a message saying he liked my default pic and i look "pretty hot"...another pick up line? argh. Lies, all lies. =P Maybe he was telling that to himself? lol He is a good-looking surfer though. haha. gha. INTERNET IS BAD, STAY AWAY FROM IT.
Anyway, we're doing linear perspective in my AP art class next. I was confused the first time. Shockingly, i managed to jot some ideas down: surfboards all lined up, cafes with umbrellas, a bridge, boat (i saw a picture that i could use), & slot machines which mr. m liked. Any of 'em will do. then again, it would take about a week to finish and he's only giving us the end of this week. argh. I was happy i had the best ideas (not to be conceited or anything). My friends were only thinking in the lines of what they only see (the school, lockers, restaurant seats) so if i could only focus on it, i'll do great. ("great" never happens unfortunately lol)
Soo the sky was really weird today. it was yellow-ish gray, almost giving out the first rain for over 2 months although it was still hot. After school, some dude was giving us out flyers. maria, anna & I didnt took it the first time. Suddenly, Anna decided to take one and freakingly "stupidized" what the flyer was. It was for some men's bar that will feature naked ladies, boosts, & SMILEY BALOONS. It got pictures on the back: ladies almost naked (eva longeria in the front. im sure alot of guys would like that), a picture of two people f_cking each other, and some other images i didnt even recognize. Earth to all of you, WE'RE NOT BI's nor do we look like pervert guys. But the "imprudent" fat-so still offered it to us before Anna had asked for it back. Is there a law concerning about giving out nasty flyers around school campuses? Cuz i dont think that kind of info is anything but acceptable to "conservative" minors like us. lol It was very funny though and we laughed the whole time. ha! Funny people, either love them or hate them and let them drown in a tank swarming with hungry sharks. *evil laugh*
-keekee is busy.
P.S. How do you cross a street? well, i cross it from the left corner to the other right side. XD yea, some weird ways to be me. lol
still getting use to "photography" lol

Happy Monday.3 years from today, I was standing in front of my uncle’s house in Quezon City,
almost teary-eyed hoarded with mix emotions. Later that day, which felt like 2 days,
I was in Seoul Airport waiting in line to board the next plane. I was already in my 15th year when I reached California. Yes, it’s my 3rd year here today. I remember how weird the surroundings look like.
The streets were seemingly wider, houses looked like it was from the movies, and the time spent with mother was also awkward. Many things have changed, I’m already use to living here and well,
I’m actually turning a year older 2 hours and 30 minutes from now.My family, mom and bro, I’ve learned are not doing anything for me tomorrow. I just thought its unfair how they threw a party for my bro last June while they won’t even cook my fave Filipino dish for me. I’m not looking for a party;
I just want them to make my birthday a big deal for once. And a chance of that happening is looking lame right now. I know I should not whine about it although
I’m sick celebrating holidays alone by myself. I’m used to relatives, siblings, and a whole town people celebrating Christmas and or my birthdays every year with me. While here, there’s no one to celebrate it with which
absolutely suck ass.Anyway, everyone who is anyone already greeted me already,
my mother gave me 10$ as a “gift” she said (stinginess? I believe so), my brother brought me art stuff, I must be a happy camper now, eh? Sure. Happy fuckin birthday, Keekee.

I heard the
neighbor kids singing the alphabet. When i looked outside,
they were holding hands and singing it. It made me wanna go,

I've been coming home
feeling sick for two days now. I dunno, i feel feverish, restless, no sleep, bigger eyebags, and of that,
i think im dying. My
energy is suddenly drained from school, i only got 2 weeks of it and already,
im almost giving up. Things have changed drastically; now that my former friends are gone out to college, i now actually do my homeworks right after 2nd, maybe Mr. D was right, i work too much. Well, what can i do? if i've done better last year,
i won't "sweat it" like i am now my senior year; my classes are much harder now and my
APs pretty much consumed what's left of my life. You know what my issue is?
Time management. I cannot, in any way, manage my time in a proper, biblical way. There are too much distractions around, pictures on the wall, computer, music, and did i mention computer? I do my homeworks although
it takes me forever to get them done. It would take me the whole night every single day. Last night is an example...I ditched my other homeworks completely and b
rought my attention to my drawing project. Did i finish it?
Nope. It took me
4 hours to shade 3 of the objects and only got a
"you should darker your shades" "dont smear..." "try distuingishing your lines from the shaded area.." from my art teacher. My
"artistic" spirit is dampen for the moment; i dont hate him for being honest with me but i felt like my
effort the night before wasnt enough. My eyes were hurtin for goodness sake! what does he want me to do? Get an eye glasses next time?
The freakin life of an artist-in- training aint fun at all. It needs
motivation,
lotsa patience and
the ability to takes criticisms lightly. Unfortunately, i dont have that, or so i think i dont. So, i ask myself why do i even wanna get to an art school when i couldnt manage to hang on for this high school class? I dunno. I thought i have the ability to be so (some sort of an arsty bum) although i am now finding out that i really dont...i give up too easily or that i just can't love my own creations. argh.
And look, its the only the 2nd week of school and i for one is already packed with schoolworks. The fall semester had
always been uncooperated with me. I find myself counting days, "when's winter break, the weekend is 5 days from now, summer is next year" this and that. I just cant wait to be a bum again, to sleep until my head hurts, eat a breakfast/lunch double meal, tsk tsk. Do i miss summer all of a sudden? grrr. I think i do
which proves me that really, i dont like changes for the first few months. Its not fun getting use to school again. There arent many awesome people to hang out anymore. Its just sad that the majority of CP high are 9th graders and only 32 seniors in the magnet. What's weird is
i feel like this week is longer but went by fast. I dont know what happen monday or tuesday,
its like being in another month.Well, that is what been bugging me lately.
I just hope that my 17th year which is 2 days from now will bring me better luck in school & the things that constitute it. whatever, im crashing my bed.
-keekee's tired. bless my soul.

Here's the->
What I want for my birthday.
. 1. Sunshine. I want it to be a day match made in heaven. No clouds looming around, and or cold air. Although that would be a little imposible to control so whatever happens then, i'll try to be a-okay with it.
2. Hugs from my friends. A senior friend visiting me would be a plus. Hmm, didnt i just heard Josue telling me he's gonna come visit me soon? oh yeah, shotgun!
3. Unique celebration. I dont want the usual cake or the mom & bro working so no celebration sh!t. I've spent 2 holidays, christmas and new year without them. Its kinda lonely but i hope they're gonna make it up this monday.
4. School must be more funner. Although that hardly happens...tsk tsk.
5. A vending machine complete with everything from toblerone to gardita aka chex mix. No, im not serious. My room is too over crowded for another vending machine addition, lol But food would be good. :-)
6. Digital technologies. Digital Camera for my "artsy" lifestyle, ipod for a portable music listenin, yes, im dreaming, dont wake me up yet...its too good. XD
7. a big sloppy joe with a side of a big sloppy kiss. XD im kidding. or am i not? hmm. lol
So any givers? hehe.that's it, im serious. just greet me in 5 different languages, kk?
keeks.
oh yeah, kevin randomly hugged me from behind, at first i thought it was my cute drawing teacher (*ahem, hes yummy lol) but when i looked around, it was him, just weird. lol I've been ignoring him lately, after all im only the reese's girl. XD

Finally! My counselor already changed my schedule, whew. Well, here's how it went:
1st:: Physics-> I didnt ask for it. He said i might need a science class if i wanna apply to UC schools. I guess so although I'm not really good at any science field really.
2nd:: Math Analysis-> The best math ever.
I dont have to figure out equations to graph anymore, i can just input agebraic models and my bulky calculator will do the trick for me. Oh YEAh.
3rd:: Physiology <->
Honors English-> I have the best teacher ever. I had her my 9th grade year and truly, she's just too nice. She helps us with our essays and let us slip a day or two on deadlines. We're reading Fast Food Nation right now.
Quickwrite: Who's to blame for America's health problem? I say them individuals who chooses to pig out on fastfood rather than small dosages of it. Yes, the fast food company do play a role although its the people's decision to wait in line for that supersized bigmac at Mcdonalds and the likes. Its all about control of one self and the dicipline behind it. bow.4th:: AP US Govt. & Politics-> I've always love history, compare to science, i can at least understand history lessons. Put this in mind,
in politics, its not what you know, its who you get to know, its your connections that matter according to Chris Matthew, the author of Hardball. Even
if your one helluva genius but you prefer to hide behind your closet doors, there's no way you can enter the Washington's political game. Do what Johnson did,
he worked on a smaller scale rather than using the media for his campaign. He get to know person-to-person and actually succeed.
5th::Ag. Business<->
AP Art-> Have i mention my teacher's comment regarding my 2 artworks?
He said they're fantastic although it doesnt cut off for AP Art standards anymore. I could hate him but
the guy is absolutely telling the truth. If only you've seen the passed slides of the former students, you would think our works are too novice,
too inside the box rather than spontaneous and loose. I dont know what my strategy is;
i need a lot of motivation and inspiration to be able to draw something worth looking at in a museum in the future. I dont think people would wanna look at my self-portrait or the basic still life i did. I was discourage from the artworks he showed us. They were too good. hrm. Oh we're currently drawing a still life right now though we have to add up things, make it more a lil less average and more on the "awesome" side.
6th::Service Ms. Sheehan's art class <->
Internet Publishing-> I was gonna take Ag. Business to get computer credits but i changed it into AP art so now, i have to take some other computer class. We didnt do much, we went to CNN and read about the 9/11, memories lost, very sad day indeed.

Do you wanna get the girl AND make her laugh? Well, here are some pick up lines you might wanna use:1. Aren't you the tiger on the Frosted Flakes box? Cuz you look "Grrrreat!"
2. Baby, if you were words on a page, you'd be what they call fine print
3. Can I get a picture of you so I can show Santa what I want for Christmas?
4. Do you eat lots of Lucky Charms? Because you look magically delicious.
5. Do you have any raisins? No? How about a date?
(lol)
6. Excuse me, but I DO think it's time we met.
7. Excuse me, but I may be lost... Can you give me directions to wherever you're going?
8. Excuse me, I'm looking for a friend...do you want to be my friend?
9. Have you been eating Cocoa Puffs? cuz I'm goin cookoo for you
10. HEY!!!! Wanna go half on a baby?
11. Hey, Laura! (Big hug). I haven't seen you forEVER!! (huge kiss) Wow, you've really changed! (I'm not Laura) What? Oh my God, you even changed your name!
12. Hi, I need your help! My mom says that if I don't get a date by tomorrow, she's putting me up for adoption.

I had 2 loaves of bread smuttered with cream cheese for dinner. Im dieting, besides my vegetarian diet,
im also trying to lessen my carb intake. A lot of people had been saying i've gain weight soo
im trying not to overdo food and eat only when im hungry. lol
I've never like cream cheese before although when i went to camp for a week, that was the only spread they served us to go along with bagel, of course. I've learned to like it, even more so, really love it--
aint too heavy like a plain milk cheese, perfect for my tastebud. Anyway, im currently reading Hardball for my AP history; my teacher is right,
the book is a very interesting read with funny twists in between. Its a good book for someone like me who doesnt like reading bulky materials, compare from last year's AP history class, its less the big words hassle and witty too.
AP politics would be awesome this year, with the smart people around me, I cant wait to look dum-dum in front of them people. They think they're the shit until they meet me through the course. Their view of perfection will change forever. lol My mom just said "Go to sleep already. Remember to wake up early tomorrow." Uhmm, earth to you mom, i do know that but its 9:56 PM which is a little too early. Oh, i just found out the Krispy Kreme in front of our school closed already.
Those freaks. No more mocha to devour to after school *shrugs* And doughnuts,
i like them pastries especially their eclairs. boo! Its so much hassle to go to Starbucks =\ Oh freakin WELL. I just remember
im turning 17 next monday which is a week from tomorrow. How exciting, okay im gonna sleep now.
I need to get taller. lol

Cheerio up! I passed the DMV test! blechAfter a month of unstudying, pressure from my bro, mom and YOU, 2 days of forgetting the papers needed, I suddenly passed the written exam and
for some reason, it doesnt feel right. I've loved the degree of difficulty they have thrown at me and t
he test that was given to me today was the same replica of the first one i took. It wasnt challenging enough; it was a give away for a loser like me. I would of
love to walk away again and tell everyone im the biggest failure of the history of DMV,
i was still building up my name in the guiness record but unfortunately, i answered right and freakin passed it. Now what? I guess
my utmost dream for my name to be in the 2008 Guinness world record is now defered. And you know what i did because it didnt feel right?
I cried,
neither for joy or sadness--
it was for the idiocy of people, seems like
nobody talks anymore this days, for passing it and it didnt even feel like it was a big deal at all. If i had put more
effort to it,
i would of been happier than i was. Answering the same questions from last time was an act leading to defeat. I was defeated, i am officially a
loser. boo.
